Refractory 96% Alumina Metallized Ceramic Tube for High Voltage Feedthrough

Specification of metallized ceramic tube: 

1. Material: 96% alumina, 99% alumina, 99.5% alumina, zirconium oxide optional;

2. Shaping methods: hot pressing, dry pressing, ISO pressing optional;

3. Outer diameter: max. to be 300mm,  length: max. to be 500mm;

4. Surface treatment: external surface glazed,  internal surface polished optional;

5. Secondary processing: Both sides grinding, cylindrical grinding, CNC machining 

6. Metallization types: 

● Ceramic body + Silver (Ag) plating

● Ceramic body + Molybdenum-Manganese ( Mo-Mn)  metallization

Description of metallized ceramic tube: 

In order to achieve the bonding between ceramic to ceramic, ceramic to metal parts, a thin layer of metal is applied to the ceramic parts' surface, then it can achieve the application. Currently, we are dealing with Molybedum-Maganese (Mo/Mn) and Tungsten (W) as typical metallization with veteran experience and abundant know-how. 

Our factory focus on produce a variety of metallized ceramic components, including metallized ceramic tube, metallized ceramic bases, metallized ceramic spacer, metallized ceramic substrates and so on.

 

Prime characteristics of metallized ceramic tube:

1. Exceptional bonding/brazing strength up to 150MPa/mm2

2. Superb low leak rate below to ≤1×10-11 Pa•m3 / s

3. High mechanical strength up to 320MPa at least

4. Electrical insulation strength up to 18KV. DC at least

5. Extremely anti-corrosion and free of rust forever

6. Can work under high temperature up to 1450℃
